Kokofami (kokofami.com, “this site”) provides comparison information on education, childcare, and lessons for Japanese families in Orange County and nearby areas. This policy explains how the site handles information. This site has no account or login feature and does not aim to collect personal information from users.

1. Analytics and cookies

• There is no sign-up or login, and we do not ask for your name, email, or similar details. We do not use ad tracking.
• We do not use any analytics tool. The site sets no cookies of its own (designed so no consent banner is needed).

2. Location data (important)

The “sort by nearest” feature uses your browser's location (latitude/longitude). These coordinates are used only on your device (in the browser) to compute distance to facilities and are never sent to our servers or any third party. It requires your browser's permission, and other features work without it. When filtering by ZIP code, the value is only matched against ZIP center coordinates on your device and is not sent or stored.

Note: Under California law (CPRA), “precise geolocation” is sensitive personal information, but this site does not collect, store, or sell it. Processing is limited to your device.

3. Connections to external services

Some features, such as the map, connect to the following external services. When connecting, your IP address and similar data may be conveyed to each service.

• OpenStreetMap (map tiles)
• CDN (unpkg, etc.) (delivery of the map library)
• Hosting (Cloudflare Pages, etc.): general access logs (IP address, etc.) may be processed, limited to operating and securing the site.

Each service's handling follows its own provider's policy.
